Put on your explorer hat and venture on with The North Face x Gucci collection

From its Gucci Off The Grid collection, the Italian fashion house has once again dived headfirst into the wilderness for an adventure of a lifetime with a new collaboration – this time with outdoor expert The North Face.

Both champions of the idea of exploration, Gucci has partnered up with The North Face for a new collaboration and through the creative vision of Alessandro Michele, to pursue the quest of discovering and expressing our own characters and personalities.

Thus, the “The North Face x Gucci” collaboration is born – one that is not only fashionable. but also in line with both’s commitments to eco-sustainable activities (as seen first with the Gucci Off The Grid collection).

Designed to be a cross-category collection, The North Face x Gucci collection highlights both men and women comprises ready-to-wear, soft accessories, luggage and shoes, as well as some more unexpected pieces linked to the outdoor world of The North Face, such as tents and sleeping bags.

And as mentioned, to align with the brands’ eco-sustainability efforts, some of the products within the collection are made with ECONYL®— a nylon fabric sourced from regenerated materials (from fishnets, carpets and other scraps) that can be recycled and recreated, aiding in decreasing its ecological footprint.

And to tell its story, Gucci has partnered with photographer Daniel Shea to shoot its campaign images and videos (including TikTok-focused content) in the Alps, where a group of Gucci-clad hikers embarks on a trip into the great outdoors.

Within the ready-to-wear sector, Alessandro plays with various silhouettes and fabrication including goose-feather down-padded coats, bomber, vest, shirts, skirts and jumpsuits, which features a special The North Face x Gucci logo.

Along with backpacks and pouches, the collection also features luggage that has eight new graphic patterns in bright colours – showcasing a variety of either Gucci House motifs or different versions of the new The North Face logo x Gucci print.

And aligned with The North Face’s DNA, Alessandro also unveils gender-neutral hiking boots in three colour variations that have a chunky and sturdy Goodyear-welted sole.
