The creative mind behind Balmain and a favourite among celebrities and models, fashion designer Olivier Rousteing and Nike has joined hands to launch the new NikeLab x Olivier Rousteing collection.
All decked in black and gold, this exciting new collaboration between the two powerhouses has been the talk of the town ever since the campaign images were posted online by none other than Rousteing himself (@olivier_rousteing).
The soon-to-be-launched collection has already gone viral and we have to say that sportswear can not get any more stylish than this.
From sports t-shirts to sneakers and track pants, this collaboration brings many Balmain signatures into play including the gold palette and sartorial silhouettes (see gallery above).
NikeLab Senior Apparel Design Director, Jarrett Reynolds says, “Olivier was obsessed with the complete look, making sure each piece worked together — not just within the men’s and women’s collections, but also between the two.”
Among the pieces highlights, the footwear collection is the one to look out for as Rousteing reinterprets classic Nike silos – Mercurial, Magista, Hypervenom and Tiempo – with his contemporary flair.
Also, in each of these models, the Flyknit has also been used for the first time to embroider its patterns. What more can you really ask for?
The NikeLab x Olivier Rousteing collection is set to launch on 2nd June 2016, both in-stores and online worldwide. Visit www.nike.com for more information.
