Dior Men launches Modern Tailoring

The impact of the pandemic has called for clothing with loose tailoring and the luxury of comfort, even it is for sartorial style. And, Kim Jones knows it well. Case in point: the Dior Men Modern Tailoring.

Casual yet sophisticated, classic tailoring gets a contemporary interpretation under the supervision of Kim Jones, combining the Maison’s iconic house codes and Jones’ streetwear sensibility. Designed for any occasions, the capsule collection is made for daily wear and can easily mix and match with pieces from the collection and your wardrobe.

Double-breasted jacket executed in structured cut is adorned with a signature cross strap – a style that also dominates Autumn/Winter 2020 runways – while classic Harrington blouson is redesigned with a button-decorated stand-up collar and two-way zip fastening. The workwear jacket done in a relaxing manner, on the other hand, is set off with a matte black “CD” icon pin.

A Dior piece would not be complete without some delicate detailing; the pieces are elevated with the bar suit’s buttons, and Cannage-patterned lining as well as matching interior button for the double-breasted jacket and workwear jacket.

The Modern Tailoring capsule collection comes in three jackets and three pants including a suit pant, a chino and a jogging pant, with the luxury of fabric selections to choose from like virgin wool and mohair blend, textured micro houndstooth and Prince of Wales check. As a finishing touch, the ensembles are matched with the new B27 sneakers and the CD loafers.
