Centred around the Costume Institute’s new exhibition at The Metropolitan Museum of Art, titled “Costume Art.”, the dress code invites the exploration of the dressed body not as a mere mannequin, but as an art form, giving designers and attendees a chance to showcase this sentiment.
Gracing the Met steps, luminaries from across industries arrived in looks that blurred the boundary between garment and body.
