After much anticipation and speculation as to what Demna has to offer at Gucci since being announced as their new artistic director six months ago, the Italian house reveals its hand with a preview of their latest collection right before Milan Fashion Week.

Demna’s La Famiglia collection, consisting of 37 different womenswear and menswear looks, ushers in a new era for the house, capturing the house’s codes and aesthetics through his methods of storytelling. Looking to the past as a foundation for the future and citing Tom Ford’s earliest work with the Italian maison as inspiration, the collection revives the raw and sexy appeal of the Italian style shaped by pure machismo and sensual attitude. With a cast of personalities assembled as Famiglia, in this case, Gucci family members, they mirror in many ways the artistic director’s own attitude and character.

From the sharp poise of Direttore’s Italian suit to La Bomba’s feline blaze, from La Contessa’s flower-strewn elegance to the quiet seduction of Gucci underwear framing Ragazzo’s sculpted form, the is a dialogue between what Gucci has long stood for and what Demna dares it to become. As a collection that treads a delicate line between heritage and reinvention, it is crafted with a precision of choice and a deep understanding of what it truly means to wear the house.

The preview of Demna’s debut collection is only the beginning of what could be between Demna and Gucci, and with Milan Fashion Week still on the way, we can expect much more from his debut collection for Spring/Summer ’26.
