Longines celebrates 190th anniversary with three dressy watches

A master of its own crafts, Longines has been showcasing its prowess in combining centuries-old know-how and sheer elegance that is ingrained in the soul of the brand with horological inventions, which greatly reflects the cornerstone of the brand’s founders — avant-garde, excellent and innovative. To mark its 190th anniversary, Longines has launched three exclusive timepieces from the Longines Master Collection — a superlative collection launched in 2005 that sheds light on the traditional mechanical calibres.

For the commemorative selection, the Swiss watchmaker steers into clean aesthetics with three different variants glazed in neutrals. The standard-production model in stainless steel features a sandblasted silver dial while the limited edition 18k yellow gold and rose gold cases serve as canvases for brushed grey and grained anthracite dials. The three watches share the same 40mm round case with an engraving of “190th anniversary” and the Longines exclusive Calibre L888.5 automatic movement, which is viewable through the see-through back. To add a final touch, the watches are matched with grey alligator leather strap, further elevating the luxury feel.

The Longines limited edition 18k yellow gold and rose gold versions come in only 190 pieces.
