Needless to say, New Balance has always been bombarding sneakerheads with various of unapologetically cool design sneakers with a high-tech and desired functionality.
Looking back into its archive, the major footwear brand releases three ‘most-wanted’ collection – 850, Heritage Pack and Inspire The Dream – reviving some of its iconic designs into something that is more modern, vibrant and sleek without compromising comfort and practicality.
Making its way into the spotlight after almost 24 years since the first debut, New Balance 850 makes a comeback with a refined, contemporary energetic twist on its classic alternative look. This latest release is designed in a myriad of expressive, bold colour-blocking and premium material plays including an upper combining mesh, leather, webbing and a sole rubber outsole.
Ensuring foot ease, a classic ABZORB midsole cushion is inserted to offer support and stability while a Rollbar posting system helps to reduce rear-foot movement.
Another collection on the list is The Heritage Pack – bringing the newly reinterpreted edition of the famed COMP100 sneaker along with an electric ensemble of apparel. Staying true to its original design and silhouette, the refurbished COMP100 is treated with a leather upper in natural indigo and classic blue, and Vibram® MegaGrip outsole unit for superior traction.
A full range of apparel, from jackets to sweaters to jogger pants and everything in between is introduced in a vintage colour palette, embracing the ‘70s retro style and New Balance’s heritage.
The last collection – Inspire The Dream – is dedicated especially to today’s generation, respected athletes like Kawhi Leonard as well as a tribute to the Black History Month.
This series features the 850, 997, OMN1S and 574 decorated in striking hues of navy, grey, red and gold with detailing like midsole speckling on speckling on the 850 and 574, and a special midfoot band reading “Inspire” on the OMN1S. The Inspire The Dream collection lets you be fearless and independence to change the game on your own terms.
