If there’s one thing HARSH doesn’t do, it’s play it safe. The Kuala Lumpur label has built a following around collections that are loud, self-aware and never too precious. Between tongue-in-cheek slogans, bold graphics and a cheeky, rebellious attitude, HARSH has carved out an identity that’s unmistakably its own. It’s a brand that doesn’t take itself too seriously, but knows exactly what it’s doing.
Harsh Kitty continues that spirit. Taking inspiration from everyone’s favourite cartoon kitty, the seven-piece collection brings together two seemingly opposite worlds. Equal parts playful and provocative, it stays true to the label’s irreverent attitude while putting its own spin on a familiar pop culture icon.
Across the collection, familiar Hello Kitty motifs are reworked through HARSH’s unmistakable lens. From camo and raglan graphic T-shirts to polos, a studded trucker cap and the standout bubblegum pink “HARSH 9” jacket, each piece carries the label’s signature edge. Meanwhile, the “couldkillyou” wording appears throughout the collection as a recurring motif, tying the pieces back to HARSH’s wider identity. The result feels less like a novelty drop and more like a natural extension of the brand’s world.
The Harsh Kitty collection drops on 28 July.
