Celebrate Father’s Day The Majestic Way This June

From indulgent buffet spreads to heritage dining and a gentleman’s afternoon tea, The Majestic Hotel Kuala Lumpur has Father’s Day covered.

Fathers are notoriously difficult to shop for. The man who spent years insisting he did not need anything tends to remain consistent on that front. Another tie feels predictable. Another wallet feels unnecessary. This year, perhaps the better gift is simply time well spent together.

At The Majestic Hotel Kuala Lumpur, Father’s Day is being celebrated through a series of dining experiences designed to bring families around the table. Whether your father enjoys an abundant buffet, a classic dining experience or a leisurely afternoon tea, there is a restaurant dedicated to every kind of celebration.

From 20 to 21 June 2026, Contango invites guests to indulge in its signature open-kitchen dining experience. Freshly prepared Western, Chinese, Japanese, Malay, and Thai specialities take centre stage, offering diners the freedom to wander between cuisines as they please. A photobooth will also be available throughout the weekend, giving families a keepsake to take home long after the plates have been cleared.

For those seeking a more intimate affair, Colonial Café presents its Father’s Day “Strength & Honour” Colonial Sampler Menu. Available for both lunch and dinner, the specially curated experience brings together signature creations and familiar favourites within one of Kuala Lumpur’s most storied dining rooms, where heritage remains as much a part of the experience as the menu itself.

Meanwhile, The Smoke House offers a different pace altogether. On 21 June, fathers can put their skills to the test in a friendly 8-ball pool challenge, with the winner receiving a Kinahan’s tasting flight — complete with a cigar. Throughout June, guests can also enjoy The Gentlemen’s Afternoon Tea, a refined afternoon ritual complete with coffee, tea, or even a tankard of beer.

After all, Father’s Day is rarely remembered for what was bought. More often, it is remembered for where everyone gathered, what was shared and who was around the table.
