Inspired by Jack Kerouac who was famed for his rhythmic and spontaneous writings – much like Christian Dior’s own creations – artistic director of menswear Kim Jones paid tribute to Kerouac by erecting a continuous 120-foot runway-sized scroll with text from his On The Road, one of the defining works of the Beat Generation, for the Dior Men Fall 2022 show. The collection exhibits a strong sense of outdoor adventure, which extends to the accessories such as the Saddle bag with cordons, a variation of the Dior Oblique in khaki, rope walking sandals, and a new Dior hiking boot.
