The new Bell & Ross watch nods to military

As we stay at home, functional fashion like military style continues to take over the fashion world as one of the biggest must-haves this season. Bell & Ross has jumped on the bandwagon with its latest diver watch, BR 03-92 Diver Military.

A testimony to its functional approach, the new creation is anchored by three fundamental principles: water resistance, legibility and reliability — reflecting military conceit characterised by robustness and minimalism.

Meeting the requirements defined by international standard ISO 6425, the timepiece comprising water resistance up to 300 metres is armoured with a steel interior and ceramic exterior case to withstand the rigours of underwater exploration. Further enhancing the water resistance capability of BR 03-92 Diver Military is the crown equipped with a guard and anti-reflective sapphire crystal with an impressive 2.85 mm thickness, providing a highly protective shield against the invasion of water pressure.

Serving as a beacon for time, the indices, hour, minute and second hands of the wristwatch are painted with Super-LumiNova for legibility even underwater. In darkness, the pale almond colour of the time indicators will turn into a phosphorescent green to enable visibility. The iconic Bell & Ross square case is also endowed with a 60-minute calibrated uni-directional rotating bezel to calculate diving time spent and a soft iron cage to increase its resistance to magnetic fields.

Powered by BR-CAL.302 self-winding movement, the functional ticker boasts a 42mm matt black ceramic case while its dial is decorated in khaki colour. Liberating unmistakable military spirit, the watch dons an olive drab synthetic fabric with an alternative of woven black rubber strap for diving activity. Due to its rarity, the watch is limited to only 999 pieces and sold in a water-resistant Pelican box.
