In Singapore: IWC Schaffhausen exhibition to showcase 150 years of heritage

Paying homage to its 150th birthday, the Swiss watch manufacturer IWC Schaffhausen is organising a retrospective exhibition at ION Orchard, Singapore from 1 May until 13 May 2018.

A space decked in the industrial style of the IWC manufacture, the exhibition is a celebration of 150 years of watchmaking excellence by IWC, along with a showcase of its glorious inventions and Jubilee watchmaking art.

This is your chance to admire the IWC Schaffhausen masterpieces from Jubilee collection like the diamond-encrusted Da Vinci Automatic Moon Phase 36 Edition “150 Years” and the Portugieser Constant-Force Tourbillon Edition “150 years”.

The haute horlogerie brand has gained international traction and achievements such as Special Watch for Pilots Ref. 436 (1936), the Yacht Club Automatic Ref. 811 (1967) and Lepine Pallweber III pocket watch (1886), which will all grace the Singapore’s exhibition.

Regarding the exhibition, Managing Director for IWC South East Asia Mr Stanislas Rambaud says, “Looking back, for us, is just as important as looking forward. The juxtaposition of IWC’s most iconic historical creations against the new Jubilee collection makes for a compelling story and, surely, there’s no better way to showcase the company’s heritage than that”.
