Set against the electric backdrop of Watches and Wonders Geneva 2026, the world’s leading watchmakers converge once more for the annual watchmaking showcase. With new creations and innovations aplenty, this year’s edition reaffirms Geneva as the undisputed capital of time. From headline-making novelties to quietly brilliant complications, here are the standout releases from Cartier, CHANEL, Hublot, Jaeger-LeCoultre, Patek Philippe, and Vacheron Constantin that are shaping the conversation today.
Cartier Privé Les Opus

Nothing quite embodies Cartier’s “Watchmaker of Shapes, Master of Craft” tagline like the Cartier Privé Les Opus triptych. This year’s magnum opus honours the 10th anniversary of the Cartier Privé with the highly desirable Tank Normale, Tortue Chronographe Monopoussoir and Crash Squelette triple threat, all crafted from platinum. The maison’s iconic platinum and burgundy combination serves as a chromatic visual guide, while each watch’s unique shape expresses the flamboyance and audacity of Cartier’s whimsical universe.
CHANEL J12 Superleggera

The J12 Superleggera has been a symbol of performance and design since its introduction in 2005. This year’s edition honours the same spirit with a sportive take that contrasts elements in the house’s ceramic icon. True to the original J12 Superleggera’s bi-material construction, this new edition features a 42mm matte black ceramic case and bracelet contrasted by a steel bezel. The central bracelet links are hemmed with polished borders with vertical satin brushing, while the bezel underwent a carbonitriding process that tones down the material’s sheen and increases its hardness. A similar two-tone approach extends to the dial as metallised and red-accented elements pop against the black-lacquered dial with an extended date aperture.
Hublot Big Bang Reloaded

This year marks the next major progression in Hublot’s Big Bang family and its household Unico flyback chronograph calibre. Both the Big Bang and Unico undeniably embody Hublot through and through, and instead of a radical shake-up, Hublot refines both entities at Watches & Wonders 2026. The result leaves us with the Big Bang Reloaded that politely nudges the viewer’s attention to its next-generation Unico HUB 1280 calibre. Instead of the expressive openwork dial from before, the Big Bang Reloaded exercises restraint with its new dial layout, featuring cutouts that expose the coloured dual oscillating clutch (at 8 o’clock) and the column wheel (at 6 o’clock). The Big Bang Reloaded is available in five iterations: Magic Gold, All Black, green and blue ceramic, and titanium with black ceramic.
Jaeger-LeCoultre Master Control Chronometre Perpetual Calendar

Jaeger-LeCoultre is the latest watchmaker to throw its hat into the integrated bracelet arena with the Master Control Chronometre Perpetual Calendar. With a vision to unite high performance with visually distinctive design and total ergonomic comfort, Jaeger-LeCoultre sought to create its ideal contemporary watch that reflects its 190-year legacy. The resulting design is based on the dauphine signature, extending from the dial elements to the integrated bracelet’s triangular prism links. While the watch could have suffered from a bulky construction, Jaeger-LeCoultre sidestepped this issue with a slim 9.2mm case thanks to its ultra-thin competence. This, in turn, allowed the bracelet links to be proportionally slim to the case, elevating the watch’s elegance. Within its 39mm 18K pink gold case lies the self-winding Manufacture Calibre 868 with perpetual calendar complication. Further testing under the new High Precision Guarantee (HPG) Seal guarantees the watch’s chronometric performance.
Patek Philippe Nautilus

Rightfully lauded as one of the most anticipated anniversary celebrations to keep an eye out for, Patek Philippe unveils its ultimate flex with the Nautilus Ref. 5610/1P-001 to celebrate 50 years of the Nautilus. Although it is the smallest piece of the anniversary quartet, it packs the most impressive punch with its understated elegance. Even though its dainty 38mm and slim 6.9mm profile case “disappears” on the wrist, the heft of its platinum case and bracelet is a constant reminder of its presence. As with all Patek Philippe models in platinum, this timepiece is adorned with a diamond, set into the hinge at nine o’clock for the first time. All the hallmarks of what makes the Nautilus an icon are present in this limited 2,000-piece commemorative edition, but lest you forget, a “50 1976 – 2026” engraving on the 22k gold mini-rotor serves as a reminder of this truly special timepiece.
Vacheron Constantin Overseas Self-Winding Ultra-Thin

Vacheron Constantin unveils the Overseas Self-Winding Ultra-Thin, its latest generation of the Overseas family, at Watches & Wonders 2026. While it may appear just like any other Overseas watch at first glance, its true beauty lies in the Calibre 2550. Vacheron Constantin embarked on a miniaturisation mission seven years ago in the footsteps of the legendary ultra-thin Calibre 1120 from 1968. With ambitions of surpassing the Calibre 1120’s astounding 2.45mm thickness, the maison finally arrived at Calibre 2550, measuring 2.4mm thick. Three main characteristics of the Calibre 2550 — a micro-rotor, suspended double barrel, and a compact gear train — allowed the watchmaker to achieve its remarkable slimness. Platinum makes its debut in the Overseas collection as the Overseas Self-Winding Ultra-Thin’s 39.5mm wide and 7.35mm thick case, bracelet and clasp is fashioned from the precious metal. A sunburst satin-finished salmon-lacquered dial acts as the finishing touch to the 255-piece limited edition watch in the spirit of the Calibre 2550.
