Menara Berkembar Sells Out in Under 48 Hours

Another W for Dannqrack and Eemrun. The sold-out show signals a new chapter for MidLyfe, with 1,500 tickets snapped up and a lineup spotlighting the collective’s next wave.

A sold-out show is nothing new for the Kuala Lumpur-based collective MidLyfe. The eight-member label, made up of DJs, producers, and rappers, has built a reputation through its yearly showcases, most notably MoreLyfe. The end-of-year show brings the entire roster together to perform their releases from the past twelve months in one night.

The growth has been steady. What began at Panggung Asia and later moved to JioSpace eventually scaled to a larger collaboration with Huru Hara KL at Over & Above. Each edition further cemented the collective’s place in the city’s independent rap scene.

After a few years in the game, 2026 marks a new chapter. The first solo album show from Dannqrack and Eemrun sold out within 48 hours, prompting the addition of a second date. The newly announced show then sold out in just one hour, underlining the demand. It is the first time the collective has built an event around individual projects, and following releases like Hari Biasa and Supernatural, Menara Berkembar now marks a defining moment that signals both artistic growth and audience demand.

In celebration of the album, the show will take place at Vox Asia, located near the city centre with a view of the Petronas Twin Towers. The setting echoes the album’s title and reinforces its positioning as a love letter to Kuala Lumpur’s youth.

The night will also feature DJ sets from MidLyfe’s resident selector ader2K. Fellow collective member kidtsteph is set to appear, alongside the introduction of a new name teased to feature on Dannqrack’s upcoming project, babyfacekalif.

To get you ready for 30 May, here is a playlist and a full introduction to the lineup so you know exactly who will be taking the stage.
