Timberland reinterprets its iconic Yellow Boot

As way to commemorate the milestone, Timberland celebrated its 45th anniversary with an exhibition where it reimagined the signature Yellow Boot in a melange of styles and colours at Mid Valley Megamall.

The Yellow Boot was initially created to be worn for working on rugged terrain and under wet weather. In the mid-80s, the outdoors footwear gained ground in Italy, the UK and Germany as well as in Hong Kong due to the covetousness of urban hip-hop fashion. And now, it is a recognised brand loved by many.

Two key products which graced the evening were the 6” Premium Boot and Premium Waterproof Chukka. With the upper made with premium leather from an LWG Silver-rated tannery, the Premium Boot is a durable pair of footwear crafted with seam-sealed construction, a leather-lined anti-fatigue footbed and rubber lug outsole. It is also a good companion for people on the go to keep their feet comfortable regardless of the weather and location.

While sharing the characteristics, the Premium Waterproof Chukka also boasts a padded collar and a removable anti-fatigue footbed. Each pair of the boots is adorned by sapphire highlights, a symbol to signify the important milestone in the history of Timberland.
