It shouldn’t come as a total surprise that Gucci has tapped Tom Hiddleston as the newest face of its latest menswear campaign for Cruise 2017 (see: Gucci Cruise 2017 show).
Taking the English sensibility to another level, the actor of Loki is as English as you can get and it’ll also come with no surprise that Tom looks exceptionally dapper in Gucci suits. Shot by photographer Glen
Shot by photographer Glen Luchford, Hiddleston is captured lounging around in an awe-inspiring Beverly Hills mansion owned by the late artist Tony Duquette (see gallery below).
If that wasn’t enough to satisfy your admiration for the British’s heartthrob, the shoot’s elegant setting is filled with antiques and paintings from Duquette’s collection. To top that, Tom is seen posing alongside three Afghan hounds to help capture the collection’s mood of eccentricity and grandeur.
Alessandro Michele’s take on men’s suits highlights preppy patterns, unique details, and funky footwear. Maybe this is a glimpse into a more elegant, silky, Gucci-clad Bond (Hiddleston auditioned for the spot recently)?
While no news is confirmed thus far, we certainly do hope that Loki will go Bond in the coming installation of the British spy franchise.
