Bell & Ross launches its new BR-X1 Military

With a well-known and well-establish inclination towards looking at the military and aerospace fields for design inspirations, the new Bell & Ross BR-X1 Military clearly displays aesthetics of stealth fighter planes. The result is a high-end chronograph with a 45mm matte khaki high-resistance titanium (HRT) case and ultra-luminous green display.

The BR-X1 Military HRT case is specially treated utilising a new production method that makes the titanium even more hard-wearing while retaining its natural lightweight qualities. The x-shaped upper bridge features a black diamond-like carbon coating, the signature of the Bell & Ross Experimental line, while the circular opening on the HRT case-back allows the beat heart of the balance to be admired.

Made from tinted sapphire crystal, the faceted hands and applique indexes is given splashes of the SuperLuminova to ensure optimal legibility during the day and at night. The small seconds is positioned at 3 o’clock, while the 30-minute timer – featuring an ultra-light aluminium discs resembling the blades of the turbine – is highlighted at 9 o’clock and the skeletonised date at 6 o’clock. Essential for calculating speeds, the tachymeter scale appears on the khaki flange. Rounding off its robust and resilient style, the watch is equipped with a black perforated rubber strap.

Available in a limited edition of 250 pieces.
