After 17 years at the helm of Burberry, president and chief creative officer Christopher Bailey will be leaving the iconic British label this coming 2018.

Inducted into the house in 2001 as the chief creative officer and later adding the position president to his belt in 2016, Christopher Bailey will officially exit the brand in December 2018.

However, Christopher will only remain in his posts until March 2018 to ensure smooth transitioning upon his exit in December and will also still design the brand’s coming Spring/Summer 2018 collection.

On his departure, Christopher says, “It has been the great privilege of my working life to be at Burberry, working alongside and learning from such an extraordinary group of people over the last 17 years.”

“I am excited to pursue new creative projects but remain fully committed to the future success of this magnificent brand and to ensuring a smooth transition.”

Right now, there are no announcement or news on Christopher’s replacement at Burberry or his future plans. So stay tuned as we bring you more updates.
