This Spring/Summer season, Uniqlo teams up with Alexander Wang again for a seasonal underwear collection, marking their second collaboration together.
A follow-up of Heattech underwear collection, the collaboration emphasises the use of Uniqlo’s AIRism technology and works on the concept of LifeWear. The range also includes both menswear and womenswear.
Inspired by the existing AIRism line, the men’s collection is made of premium cotton, which gives birth to the first collection created with quick-drying cotton blend AIRism. The range comes in short sleeve T-shirts, tank tops and boxer briefs.
As for womenswear, the collaboration sees the emergence of sheer and seamless design for innerwear like bras, bikini shorts, camisoles, half leggings and cropped long sleeve T-shirts.
On the collaboration, Wang said, “Innovation has always been at the forefront of our design and creative process, and functionality serves a huge purpose in the way I and our customers dress. Therefore, through the influence of innovation, technology and functionality, the special AIRism collection was born”.
